This page records the exact redemption path for 31 platforms and games, each one taken from the publisher’s own support page. Every row shows where the box lives, the buttons you press in order, and any gate. Rows no editor has confirmed stay listed as awaiting editor verification.
This page explains the mechanics of redemption and is not a list of codes. Its reference point is the official Roblox code redemption page, where Roblox gift card, promo and toy codes are now entered, and every other row names its own publisher’s destination.

The publisher page would not open for this check, so no path is recorded. | Unknown. Do not assume the console redemption box will take it. | Listed · awaiting editor verification | 25 August 2026 |
Two things in that table are worth reading twice. Roblox has no redemption screen in the standard mobile app, so an iPhone or Android player must open a browser. And a code issued by a single Roblox experience never works on the platform redemption page, because the developer built its own box.
How to redeem a code
These six steps hold for every row above. The differences come after them.
- Identify who issued the code. A platform issued it, or a single game did.
- Sign in to the account that should receive the reward, and check the name on screen.
- Open the exact destination from the table above for that platform or game.
- Paste the code rather than typing it, then delete any space before or after.
- Press the confirm button and wait for the confirmation message.
- Open the place the reward lands, which is an inventory category, an in game mailbox or a download queue depending on the platform.
Where the path differs by device
- Roblox splits by device rather than by code. Browser works, standard mobile app does not, and Samsung Galaxy has its own Redeem tile on the More page.
- Xbox splits three ways. Console goes through the guide and the View button, Windows goes through the Xbox app settings, mobile goes through the gear icon on your profile.
- PlayStation splits four ways. The PS5 opens the menu with triangle, the PS4 uses the bottom of the store sidebar, the website uses the profile drop down, and the mobile app uses the menu icon on the right.
- Nintendo splits two ways, and the browser route carries a gate the console route does not: the account must have opened the eShop on a console at least once.
- Epic works the same in the launcher and in a browser, and the older store address now resolves to the store subdomain.
Why is my code not working?
| Cause | What you see | What to do | Status | Last checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The code has expired | A generic invalid code message. Almost no platform tells you the code once worked. | Stop trying. An expired code cannot be revived by retyping it. Roblox states plainly that a promo code past its window cannot be redeemed. Go back to the publisher channel and take a current one. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
| Wrong case or a mistyped character | Invalid code, on a code that looks correct on screen. | Paste rather than type, and delete any space before or after. Roblox lists the usual confusions as zero for the letter O, one for capital I, two for Z, five for S, six for G or Q, and eight for B. Nintendo download codes never contain O, I or Z at all. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
| Already redeemed on this account | A used code message, or a success message with nothing new to show for it. | Check the inventory category or the in game mail before assuming failure. Roblox virtual item codes redeem once per account and PlayStation voucher codes are single use across all accounts. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
| Signed in to the wrong account | A success message, and no reward on the account you actually play. | Sign out, sign in to the receiving account, and redeem again if the code is still unused. Xbox Support cannot move a redeemed code to another Microsoft account, and PlayStation cannot transfer content between accounts. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
| A level or progress gate | The box accepts the code and then refuses it as not eligible. | Play on and try again once the account has progressed. Genshin Impact is widely reported to require Adventure Rank 10 for most codes, with a small set of exceptions. That gate is not stated on the redemption page itself. | Listed · awaiting editor verification | 25 August 2026 |
| The code only takes on a fresh server | Nothing at all happens when you submit, or the reward never lands. | Leave the experience, rejoin, and submit again before anything else. This is reported repeatedly for Roblox experiences after an update and is confirmed by no publisher, so treat it as a cheap thing to try rather than a rule. | Listed · awaiting editor verification | 25 August 2026 |
| Region lock | An error naming your country, or a silent refusal on a code that works for other people. | Check the account region against the code. Xbox requires the Microsoft account region to match, and PlayStation requires the voucher region to match. Roblox is the exception and states its codes redeem worldwide with the value converted to your local currency. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
| The code belongs to a different game | Invalid code, in a game where that code was never valid in the first place. | Check the code against the game named at its source. Codes for one experience routinely appear on lists for its clone, and Microsoft warns that publisher codes which look like platform codes must go through the publisher’s own store instead. | Active · as published | 25 August 2026 |
Work down that table in order. The first four causes account for most failures and all four are cheap to rule out. The last four are the ones people never think to check, and a region lock or a clone game code will never resolve however many times you retype it.
How to tell a real code from a fake one
| What is circulating | Why it is wrong | Where it came from |
|---|---|---|
| Sites that promise free currency once you enter a username and a generated code | Roblox publishes a support article stating that no generator of this kind exists and that these sites are scams. Entering a username or password on one hands over the account, and the code itself does nothing. | Ad networks, video descriptions and comment spam that follow every popular code search. |
| Codes lifted from a clone or a sequel and listed under the original game | A sequel keeps its own code list and the two do not share a redemption box, so a code taken from one fails silently in the other. The reader blames the game rather than the list. | Aggregator pages that merge a game and its sequel under a single heading to cover both search terms. |
| Codes invented to pad out a list | A code that appears on one aggregator, on no publisher channel, and nowhere else usually fails on submission. There is no announcement behind it because there was never a code. | Pages written to a word count rather than to a source, then copied by the next site down the results. |
The test is simple. Trace the code back to the channel the publisher actually posts on. If the trail stops at an aggregator, a compilation video or a comment, the code has no origin and probably never had one. The evidence rules behind a Verified label set out why agreement between three list sites still counts for nothing on its own.
Generator sites deserve their own line. There is no mechanism by which a third party site can mint platform currency, and every one of them exists to take an account or a payment. Nothing on Freetins will ever point you at one.
Paths that no longer exist
| Game or platform | Where to enter the code | Exact steps | Gates | Status | Last checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roblox promo code page | Gone. The request now lands on roblox.com/redeem. | The standalone promo code page no longer exists as its own destination. Anything sent to it resolves to the single redemption page. | Guides still naming this as a separate page are describing a route that no longer exists. | Expired | 25 August 2026 |
| Roblox toy code page | Gone. The request now lands on roblox.com/redeem. | The separate toy redemption destination has been folded into the single redemption page, so toy codes and gift card codes now share one box. | None. The redemption itself still works, only the old address is retired. | Expired | 25 August 2026 |
This is the failure mode that beats every competitor on this search. A guide describes a menu that was retired, the reader follows it, finds nothing, and concludes the code is dead. Both rows above were recorded by following the redirect rather than by reading somebody else’s guide.
Where are new codes announced?
Codes originate on a small number of channel types and everything else, this page included, is downstream of them.
- Roblox code redemption page
- Roblox Support on gift cards and codes
- Xbox Support on redeeming codes and offers
- PlayStation Support on voucher codes
- Nintendo Support on eShop download codes
- Epic Games Store Support on code redemption
- HoYoverse code redemption page for Genshin Impact
For live game codes rather than platform codes, the channels that matter are the developer’s own Discord announcement channel, the developer’s account on X or YouTube, the update notes on the experience page itself, and any in game event board. Grow a Garden codes and their current claim status and the Dandy’s World redeem button and its known variants both track those channels row by row, and the Roblox promo codes we are tracking covers the platform side.
Where sources disagree
| Item | What one source says | What the other says | What we could confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| The button label in the Nintendo eShop | Nintendo Support says select Enter Code on the left of the screen | Outlet coverage of the Switch 2 eShop says select Redeem Code | Nintendo’s own wording is what this page records. The likeliest explanation is that the label differs between console generations, which no source states. |
| Where the Dandy’s World redeem box lives | A Use Code button on the left of the lobby screen | A settings cog at the bottom right with a Redeem Code button | Not confirmed. No publisher documentation exists for this experience, so the row is listed as awaiting editor verification rather than picking the more popular description. |
| Where a Windows code is redeemed for Xbox content | Older coverage describes the Microsoft Store app account menu | Microsoft’s current article documents only the Xbox app for Windows | The Xbox app path is recorded, because it is what the publisher documents now. |
What we could not verify
Four things could not be confirmed. The Grow a Garden and Dandy’s World redemption paths rest on outlet reporting because neither studio publishes support documentation, and the two sources for Dandy’s World describe different buttons in different corners of the screen. The Fortnite V-Bucks gift card page would not open for this check, so no path is recorded for it rather than a guessed one. The Genshin Impact in game menu route and the Adventure Rank threshold are widely repeated and appear on no publisher page, so both stay reported. Nothing here was recorded as publisher confirmed on the strength of agreement between aggregators.
Two of those gaps exist because the studios concerned publish no support documentation at all, which is a structural problem rather than a research failure. How Freetins verifies every row explains why an outlet consensus stays listed until a publisher post or an editor’s own check backs it. The rows stay visible, marked awaiting editor verification, rather than being hidden, because a hidden row and a wrong row look the same to a reader.
Change log
| Date | What changed |

How rechecks are recorded
Rechecks are recorded on this page as editors make them. A row whose Last checked column reads not yet has not been tested by an editor.
Menu paths move when a platform redesigns its store, launcher or mobile app, and those redesigns ship without a changelog entry anyone outside the company can watch. Experience level paths move whenever a developer reworks their settings panel.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I enter game codes?
It depends entirely on who issued the code. Platform codes and gift cards go into a redemption page on the platform's own website or store menu. Codes issued by a single game go into a box that game builds for itself, usually behind a settings cog or a lobby button. The lookup table on this page gives the exact destination for each one.
Why is my code not working?
In order of how often it actually happens: the code has expired, a character was mistyped or the case is wrong, the code was already used on that account, you are signed in to the wrong account, a level or progress gate blocks it, the server needs rejoining, the region does not match, or the code belongs to a different game. The failure table on this page covers each one.
Are game codes case sensitive?
Many are, and the ones that are not still reject a mistyped character. Roblox lists the confusions that cause most failures, including zero read as the letter O, one read as capital I, and eight read as B. Paste the code rather than typing it, and delete any space that came along with the copy.
How do I redeem Roblox codes on a phone?
Open a browser rather than the app. Roblox states that redemption is not available in the standard mobile app or on consoles, so an iPhone or Android player has to sign in to the redemption page in a browser. Samsung Galaxy is the single exception, with a Redeem tile on the More page inside the app itself.
Can I redeem the same code twice?
Almost never. Roblox virtual item codes redeem once per account, and PlayStation voucher codes are single use across every account. If you already own the item, some publishers let you pass the code to someone else instead. Check your inventory or your in game mail before deciding a code has failed, because a silent success looks identical to a failure.
Do game codes expire?
Yes, and most of them expire without warning and without any announcement. Roblox states that a promo code past its window cannot be redeemed at all. Publishers rarely publish an end date up front, which is why a code that worked for somebody an hour earlier can return a plain invalid message for you with no explanation attached.
Why did nothing appear after the code was accepted?
Look in the right place before retrying. Roblox delivers virtual items into a specific inventory category rather than into the game you were playing. HoYoverse delivers code rewards by in game mail, which itself expires. Xbox installs redeemed content automatically and shows it in the download queue. A second redemption attempt will usually just fail as already used.
Are code generator sites safe?
No. Roblox publishes a support article stating that free currency and subscription generators do not exist and that these sites are scams. Any page asking for your username, your password or a payment to unlock a code is taking something from you rather than giving anything back. This site will never link one, whatever the reward on offer.
